Toffee and Pie
This story was about two horses and their owners who make friends.
John and his family move around all over the place so he can’t read or write very well but he is really good at drawing horses and Tom likes his drawings so much that John feels better about it. John really likes going to school with Tom because they can meet up after and ride their horses. It is really sad when John’s family has to move on again but you think that maybe they will come back. I thought this story was brilliant because I love horses too. It was easy to read without very much help and I would definitely recommend it to boys and girls aged eight and older.
