Kidnapped!

Olivia Nicell couldn’t put this one down. Gripping.

Entangled is a gripping story of love, friendship, adventure and self-discovery. Seventeen year old Grace comes to the conclusion that she has been kidnapped, when she wakes up in a white room filled with nothing but a bed, a table and chair, and some pens and paper. With nothing to do, she is forced to chart the story of her turbulent past. It is anything but boring when problems with her best friend Sal arise.  However, Grace soon finds love in Nat, the mysterious new boy she met on the bus. Along with other problems, Grace battles with self-harm, and must find a way to stop before she destroys the only relationships that mean anything to her.
I found myself unable to put this book down as I was reading it into the wee hours of the night, asking myself questions like ‘Why was she kidnapped?’ and ‘Is she going to die?’ Although the story is intriguing, I did find the protagonist, Grace to be slightly annoying at times, as she is very much a clichéd teenager. Overall, a fascinating and exciting read that I would recommend to older teens and young adults.
